Footpath Route Planner App Reviews

I thought I would be able to send the route to the maps app, but I was wrong. The share option states "route to start" and appears to be a useless feature. I could be using it wrong. I purchased the app for running while traveling. Routing runs in your local area is OK but not worth the $.99. Wish it have functionality to send the route to navigation to help me while running in new cities.

Looking for a simple way to draw running routes and know distance. Does what I wanted easily.

I purchased this app to track my route but realized that a portion of the bike trail I run is not recognized on this app so it automatically adds an alternate route with a longer distance. For me this app is pointless.

There must be a trick to this that I dont get. My routes keep cutting off before Im done even though I never lift my finger. Very frustrating. Took me about 10 tries to get a usable running route.

This is a great app for planning your run. Easy to navigate and accurate.

I loved the idea to map out a new route in a new area. Now when I am running or cycling how can I get turn by turn instructions of my newly mapped route? There is a share option but just states navigate to start???? Contacted support but no response.

Sleek design. Simple interface. Powerful tool. Elite is well worth the price for syncing and unlimited logs. I can map a route on my iPad, and it’ll be synced to my iPhone seconds later as I’m out for my hike or run!

Footpath is great. I use it to map all my bike rides. Free version provides great functionality, but after using it, I upgraded to paid via in app purchase. Super simple interface, plenty of different map options, and good accuracy. Cant recommend it more highly!

I love this app. It has (almost) everything I am looking for in a running app. I love that I can share my routes in multiple formats so my spouse can keep track of me on long runs or I can get competitive with my running buddies. The snap to and draw features are excellent and the tracking is very accurate to what my GPS watch will read after a run. The ease of the map when I travel makes finding routes in new places so simple! I do wish the free version would allow me to save routes. Definitely way worth the download though. Not any real legitimate complaints here.

Can save up to 5 routes in this version (without upgrade). Seems like plenty to me since you can download and save maps separate from app.

I love this app. Its perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Simple and to the point. And it doesnt make you sign up either, which is always a plus. Another great feature is that it shows the elevation throughout the route youve planned by clicking on the line thing next to where it shows the distance.

Great app for planning and mapping running routes. I travel a lot for work and use this constantly to map out new routes in different places.

This is the app I use most and it couldnt be more perfect for a runner or cyclist. It has every feature I can possibly want when trying to create a fun adventure.

A little touchy. Sometimes depending you trace your routes, the app may think you are doing an out and back or a loop when you arent. But that wasnt at all enough to deduct a star!

Really cant think of anything Id change. This is the only app I can think of that I did not regret paying for.
